Immigration Lawyer

Matteo is an ambitious adviser and is very passionate about immigration law. He works on the vast majority of immigration cases, including EEA, UK Settlement, and Points-Based System (PBS) applications and has successfully challenged Home Office decisions on human rights grounds.

Background

Matteo left his home country of Italy in order to complete his Master’s degree in International Politics and Human Rights at the University of London. While in London, he got involved in a charity which dealt with asylum and immigration cases. One of Matteo’s main attributes is always seeking to go above and beyond and he applies this approach to his clients’ cases when practicing immigration law. He has a particular interest in helping families experiencing immigration issues to be reunited.

Experience

Matteo joined IAS in 2017. He works on the vast majority of immigration cases and has great expertise in EEA law, Nationality, and Points-Based System (PBS) applications. Matteo has a special interest in complex family cases involving adult dependants and other dependent relatives. He has successfully challenged Home Office decisions on human rights grounds.

BA Political Science from the Alma Mater University of Bologna (Italy).
